Trick or Treat

Aly was a dragon for Halloween. We didn't go trick or treating since everyone knows that if you are taking a 5 month old trick or treating you're not collecting candy for her! We did go around to a few places to show her off though. She did a good job in her costume but she was out like a light by the time we got home.

A Nice Relaxing Bath

Aly likes to relax in her whirlpool tub after a long day at school! Today was especially hard since she was the only kid in her room! She had Miss Melissa's undivided attention all day long:)

"Real" Food

Aly tried green beans on Sunday. This was her first taste of real food. She made a horrible face and she shook her head a few times but she is getting used to them.

Music Mama

Aly has quite the musical talent. She loves to drum and play her piano.

Rolling Over!

Aly rolled over today! It happened at school. We knew she was close, it was just a matter of when! Miss Melissa was the first to see it, but she came and got me so I could come see:) We practiced some more when we got home. So far it has just been from back to stomach.

Open Mouth Insert Foot

Her latest trick:)

First Slumber Party

On Saturday Aly and I went to help Janelle out with Jordyn's first slumber party. Janelle was brave and crazy to have 7 second graders spend the night! The girls did great. Aly and I stayed and hung out for awhile.

Christmas in October

Every year Little Village does Operation Evergreen. It's a program that sends trees over to our troops for the holiday season. We are in charge of making hundreds of ornaments for the trees. We have to have them all ready to send by the beginning of November so October is ornament month. We had a Family Ornament Making Day at LV on Saturday. Aly had to dress for the occasion of course!

Bundle Up

It can be chilly out when we head to school so we have been able to get some use out of our carseat cover.

The Concept of a Spoon

Aly can't seem to grasp the concept of a spoon. We've been working on it but food actually staying in her mouth has yet to be accomplished!
